Read alouds

The first book that I read to my class this year was "Someone Was Watching" by David Patneaude. In this book, Chris and his friend Pat, set out to prove that Chris' little sister, Molly, did not drown. They think she was kidnapped instead. Can they find Molly or is it all wishful thinking?

We just finished reading "Ghost of Fossil Glen" by Cynthia DeFelice. Allie seems to be hearing the voice of a girl and seeing her face. Who is she and what does she want? Can Allie help or will she be drawn in to a dangerous situation?

The students seemed to enjoy both of these exciting books.

We are now reading "Sasquatch" by Roland Smith. Do Sasquatch really exist? Dylan and his dad are trying to find out.
