Our school is involved with a reading challenge. Each student is trying to accomplish a goal by reading a predetermined number of hours. Fourth graders have been asked to read 16 hours. Each Monday the students are to return their slip of paper indicating how much they read the prior week. Each child who accomplishes their goal will be treated a trip to the Roosevelt theater to a special viewing of Disney's "The Princess and the Frog! on December 18th."
If the school children read a total of 5000 hours, Mrs. Goodrich must KISS a frog. The students are loving that idea, although Mrs. Goodrich really is NOT!
